The Democratic Primary was a humongous eye opener for me in that regard. Elizabeth Warren appealed heavily to elite woke types, but she couldn't place above third in a single state. And Bernie, with his passionate online fan base, performed worse than he did in 2016.
The Extremely Online types may be loud, but they have very little say in the electorate. At least right now.
