Would you mind letting us Morally and Intellectually Superior Android users in the loop when the Android version is fully released? I am aware I could do this myself, but I am what you would call "lazy" and "useless" but still want to participate.
I am too old for this and I can never even remember my apple password, but I downloaded the app and followed you because I will be forever grateful that you covered the actual complexity of youth gender transition despite it being against your self interest.
Just got an email from Matt Taibbi about his Callin discussion... we're about to get a whole slew of thinkpieces from "tech reporters" about Callin platforming bad people, aren't we?
Was on your impromptu (midnight) talk the other night. Was easy to figure out. Definitely do have guests/conversations. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this. Good luck.
I'm sorry to hear it won't be available as a real podcast. What I love about podcasts are that they are an open, permissionless and censorship resistant technology. It worries me that companies like Spotify and Callin are trying to undermine this. I guess at least Callin sounds like they are trying something novel with the call-in radio format but unless I can subscribe through the podcast app of my choice I'm afraid I'm not interested.
I really enjoyed both The Quick Fix and the old Singal-Minded episodes, so I'd love it if you'd interview more guests on science/social-science topics. I found the recent episode you did with the psychologist who specializes in pedophilia very informative. More like that, please.
(If you want to keep some cultural hot-button topics in the mix, I think guests along the lines of Razib Khan and Stuart Ritchie would be fascinating. Perhaps the "Junk studies often don't hold up" topic seems old to you since you've been writing about it for a number of years, but IME there have been even more junk studies held up and circulated by prominent people during the pandemic years than before.)
I would love to hear a conversation between you and Corinna Cohn. While I don’t think you and she would necessarily have a great deal of disagreement on trans issues, exploring those areas (should they exist) would be interesting.
Or, have her on to talk about something else entirely. She’s great to listen to and has smart perspectives on a lot of things. I would love to hear the two of you hash out/toss around any potentially difficult subject.

I meant to add this, but when there's Android support I'll certainly let people know.

You beat me to the comment :)

Thank you! I was surprised how fun that was given how little notice I gave and how little a sense I had of what I was doing.
We'll need to hear all about the horse/girlfriend.

Agree completely
I’m a sucker for Tristan Harris and Daniel Schmactenberger if you’re looking for guests. Basically anyone trying to detoxify the Internet.

The darn app keeps telling me "Something went wrong" (maybe it sniffed out my TERF credentials). Otherwise I'd be listening.
Any options for people that don't own a smartphone?
I can’t get it to work on my iPad, despite the App Store assuring me it’s compatible.
A desktop app would be great for those of us who have ancient shitty phones with bad mics

Seconded!
The Callin app can be downloaded on the iPad, but there is no audio. Aside from that, I'm tuned in.
No gamers? But there's soooooooo much content to be mined out of New World and probably other gamer things!
